Nick Cody & The Heartache are a roots-based ensemble that delivers music that sparks the brain and taps your feet. The current lineup is Nick Cody and Claire Helm on vocals, Andy Wright on violin, and Harry Orme on guitar.

We also have a number of other session musicians we can call upon for live and recording work. The ensemble can also include special guests, including Howard Taylor and Fergus Quill, who play electric bass; Michael Ross from Nashville, who plays guitar; Laurent Zeller, who plays violin; and Agi, who plays vocals.
In recent times the full electric ensemble includes Claire Helm on vocals, Harry Orme on guitar, Rich Ferdi on percussion and Fergus Quill on bass. The lastest album “Sweet Songs and Bitter Truth” will feature Liz Hanks on cello and include the singles “We are the many” and “The world’s richest man”
