I just came back from our showcase event in Leeds, hosting a number of great artists including my great friends Towse.
Course corrections and improvisations
For a variety of reasons I had to change the running order and setlist on the night, that meant a ton of course corrections. I’m lucky to be working with some amazing artists and special thanks to Towse and Agi for leaping into saving the day. There’s a huge amount of work behind the scenes with such showcases and lots of spinning plates.
This was also a much bigger setlist than I would normally play, almost two hours if we include sound checks. It was a great cowd who turned out, terrific sound from Carl and a perfect example of what Green Eyed Records and Music for the Head and Heart. The new venue was a major improvement and having the right physical space is really important.
