The forthcoming album “Sweet songs & Bitter truth” contains a number of protest songs including “We are the many” and “The World’s richest man” We have released both these tracks as singles and after this album is released in May, I have more protest songs in the pipeline… I am delighted to have Liz Hanks featured on this album. She is a brilliant musician and brings a whole new sonic level to this material. No wonder she is in so much demand from A list artists across the globe!
Future “protest/bitter truth” songs in the pipeline
I’m currently working on “Epic Love” which is another protest song, detailing what is currently going on in the USA and how those antics are affecting the rest of the world. As usual its the everyday people that are most affected. The “leaders” and billionaires are usually distanced from any real problems. I shared the Epic Love lyrics with a longstanding international folk artist who wonderfully commented “No holds barred then?”
